MHPCC DREN Emergency Maintenance - October 20th, 2015

The MHPCC DSRC will be performing network maintenance on 20 October between 1700 (HST) and 1800 (HST). During these hours users may experience loss of external network connectivity to the MHPCC DSRC. Riptide's internal networks will not be impacted during this maintenance period. Archival file transfers, batch jobs and batch job-related activities that remain within the MHPCC DSRC will not be affected.

The customer site/enclave will be conducting emergency maintenance for the purpose of adding equipment. The maintenance will involve provisioning a new appliance at MHPCC. This maintenance will require approximately 15 mins of network downtime over a window of 1 hour.

Please plan accordingly. This is in ADDITION to the DREN maintenance on October 15, 2015 1900 (HST).

The DREN TAC will be conducting emergency maintenance for the purpose of upgrading the code on the SDP. The maintenance will involve taking the site down while the code is upgraded on the SDP. MHPCC DSRC FY2016 Transition - October 1st, 2015

On 1 October 2015 at Midnight (HST), MHPCC DSRC will begin the Fiscal Year(FY) transition process.

Riptide will process FY2015 and FY2016 jobs as follows:

- PBS jobs running before Midnight (HST) on 1 October will be allowed to complete by running through the FY2015/2016 boundary.

- PBS jobs that remain in the queued status at Midnight (HST) on 1 October will be deleted from the queue.

- All users with FY2016 account requests that have been received and processed by the MHPCC DSRC may begin submitting jobs against their FY2016 allocations immediately after Midnight (HST) on 1 October.

- The MHPCC Utility Server maintenance will be extended until 5 October 2015 1700 (HST) due to unexpected upgrade complications. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
